Still waiting! I made an appt. for next Monday and at that time we’ll decide on a plan if nothing has happened yet. They will induce me next week but I’m hoping to avoid that… hopefully the baby is ready to come by then! I’m not really that nervous for it to happen, but the anticipation is getting really hard to handle. And the weekend seemed to drag by so that makes it that much harder! I’m still at work, mostly to keep busy, but its been difficult to focus and get motivated. Josh says he’s going to start calling me LaLa since it seems I’m in LaLa Land most of the day… it’s just too easy to daydream and imagine what a crazy new life we will have very soon!

Oh – Coda loves the baby already – how precious! I think LaLa is a nice name, kind of fits grandma and at most times myself
so – you are in good company – Hall Women Who Have Lost Their Minds!
Ok, even Koda wants to meet the new little Keck Baby…… Soon you will be cuddling that little baby! (And Koda’s “let’s get acquainted lick-a-thon” will begin:) Keep pampering yourself and resting! Love you
Hi Steph and Josh!
How are you doing? I’m so anxious for the three of you to continue your journey through this exciting time. Steph, you look beautifully radiant! You still look like Audrey Hepburn!! And Josh, you look so proud and ready to be a dad. Great timing for Father’s Day!
I wish you the best. Even though you’re anxious for your baby to be delivered, try to enjoy this time together because you won’t be just the two of you anymore!!
Love each other through this next experience.
I’ll be thinking of you and praying that all goes well.
I still think Susie is a great name for a little girl. It’s so cute when little kids say that! Think about it…..that’s all I can ask. (I hope you know I’m just kidding). But think about it….
Take care and I’ll await the wonderful news.
Love, Sue
Hey you guys…Let the real waiting begin, huh??? Can you even remember what it was like to be wondering if those really were kicks you were feeling or just gas?? Can you remember schedualing your ultrasound and how exciting it was to seen that baby in there kicking and moving and being “real”?? All the months of anticipation are down to just a few days of wonderment…and pretty soon, you’ll forget that there was a time when you didn’t know what that baby looked like…smelled like…sounded like – because it will be here and it will look better and cuter and more perfect than you ever imagined it could look. I am so excited for you both…I get tears in my eyes thinking about it…because you are on the threshold of something so amazing and so miraculous. I love you both and I love that baby…and I know you’re all going to be a wonderful little family!!!
“Mournful-eyed” . . . what a perfect description of Koda! The picture says it all . . . waiting for that Baby Kirby “so bare and so small”! Waiting along with most of Walsh County . . . someone here said today that there will be FIREWORKS over Grafton announcing that Mary Jo and Nick are grandparents!
Hurry up, Kirby . . . you have SO many of us waiting to meet you and love you! Love you guys, Mom
I can’t get enough of that picture of Koda and the baby! I am anxious to hear about his reaction to the real thing :) We’re looking forward to the call that the baby is here, now anytime the phone rings or we have a message on the machine I get excited. We’re hoping these last few days (or hours!) pass by quickly for you guys!
Yes, All of us in Walsh County are waiting for the great news! Love the pictures. And it is okay to be in LaLa Land. You will be great parents and Nick and Mary Jo will be wonderful grandparents. Take care and enjoy this time. Susie Geiger
Almost! You’re almost done!! Soon you’ll be holding your baby and life will never be the same again, in the best way possible. :) Do NOT hesitate to take a day or two off of work just to sleep! Just to sit! Just to be lazy! You won’t regret it and it will give you more time to be in LaLa land. :) Take care Steph — I can’t wait!!!
Wishing you all the very best – we are looking forward to seeing the new member of the family in August – Uncle Charlie
Hey Steph, what a cute picture….just wanted to say I am thinking of you this week and can’t wait to hear the news. Take care of yourself now and sleep as much as you possibly can, although I know its getting difficult and uncomfortable. Thinking of you lots knowing it could be anyday now! Love, Allie
Dear LaLa:
I keep looking up at my calendar at work and thinking, “Wow, the due date is so close.” And then, five minutes later, I do the same thing. And then I do it again. Hang in there Moma – we are all excitedly waiting with you!
Steph and Josh- What a great picture. I think Koda’s look says it all. We are all anxiously awaiting that phone call. Every day at work now I get the -are you grandpa yet? Lori, our nurse in Alex beat me. Her daudhter gave birth on Tuesday to a 9 lb. 3 oz. BIG boy. Man, I hope that the little Keck is bulking up these last few days. We are always thinking about you guys and praying that all goes well, and labor is brief for you Steph. Give Koda a love pat from Opa. Love Dad
Thinking of you today!! Sending prayers and blessings…
Steph- Oops, I meant to say that I hope that little Keck is NOT bulking up. Love Opa Rob
