Dancing Queen

By: Josh | Tags: , , ,

Every once and awhile Lauren will get in a mood that causes Steph and I to stop everything we’re doing and just sit and watch. Tonight was one of those nights and luckily the video camera was handy. Maybe it was the pizza, or more likely the cookies after dinner. Whatever the cause, it provided (Read the Rest…)

That was such a treat! A great way to start my day — with the dancing queen:) She definitely loves music and keeping the beat. It looks like she has the “brush it off” down pat too. And the “circle.” She’s ready for dance class. Love you all

Lauren was pretty talkative on our ride home from the cabin last weekend. Here’s a clip of her reading in the car. And here are a couple others from the lake…

It’s so awesome to hear her voice – makes me incredibly lonesome for her!!! Did you ever think you could love someone as much as you love that little one? Love, Laurie

On the Move

By: Josh | Tags: , ,

Lauren is officially on the move. With the help of a Saturday morning Starbucks delivery from Manda, Lauren proved she’s just like the rest of the girls and loves her coffee. She has been crawling around quite a bit since which has gotten us started on child proofing the house.

Lauren wishes everyone a happy Valentine’s day! She had a party at daycare today and her room was completely decked out in streamers, balloons and goodies (although Josh and I got to claim the treats). And Josh made a feast for us at home tonight- crab legs and steak, yum! Sending lots of love to (Read the Rest…)

And your hair is getting so long, too! Can’t wait to kiss those adorable cheeks of yours . . . four days and counting!! Love, Grandma Mary

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. We had a great time in St. Cloud celebrating Lauren’s first Christmas with family and friends. Lauren enjoyed playing with Great Grandpa Paul in her jumper. She was excited to open gifts — so she could play with the gift wrap. She also got another visit from (Read the Rest…)

Last night we took Lauren to her first ever MN Wild game (Thanks Veegs for the tickets) and it will be one we’ll remember for a long time. Marion Gaborik became the first player in Wild history to score four goals in a game, let alone five. The last NHL player to score five goals (Read the Rest…)

Jump!

By: Josh | Tags: , ,

Well Lauren finally convinced us to get a “jumper” after a month of trying to jump around in her exersaucer. To say that she enjoys it would be putting it mildly. Here’s a video for you to enjoy.

Oh that is so cute…and those “johnny jumpers” are the BEST! It reminded me of both of my kids at that age, they were in it alot and loved it . Plus, they developed such strong legs from it I think it helped them stand and balance. We would bring it with us even when we traveled and it helped out alot. Lauren is such a pretty baby and I can’t wait to meet her someday. Thanks for sharing! Take care, Allie
