We took advantage of the beautiful day today and went to the MN Zoo! Lauren had a great time looking at all the animals- she especially liked the fish and the prairie dogs. Lauren, What a great celebration your 1st birthday was! You had a wonderful time “catching” bubbles and interacting with everyone. That little sparkle in your eyes just melts my heart. You bring so much joy to so many lives…..we love you very much!
Lauren is so close to walking- maybe she’ll wait and take those first steps on her birthday! Her new favorite thing to do is pull all of the clothes and towels out of her dresser drawers. Steph, That is a beautiful picture of Grandma Wanda with you as a baby…..I know you have many wonderful memories of her that you will cherish.
La-La is the little explorer — she’s so interested in EVERYTHING. She has such a serious little expression as she stands by the dresser. It won’t be too many years and she’ll want to help you put things INTO the dresser:) Looking forward to celebrating her first birthday and maybe seeing her take a few solo steps. Love you.
We did it! My couisn Jess and I ran the Fargo 1/2 Marathon this past weekend and it was a great experience. It really was a fun one to take part in … so many people came out to cheer on the runners and it was a such beautiful morning to be out running! We (Read the Rest…)

It’s great to finally be able to get out and enjoy some warm spring weather! Josh repaired our swing set in the backyard and hung a baby swing for Lauren- she loves it! Busy is the word around our house lately! Lauren is moving a lot faster now and is getting into everything… she climbs and crawls over anything in her way and tries to pull herself up on whatever is near. We spent a wonderful week of vacation in Arizona visiting Rob, Joanne and extended family. It was great to enjoy some family time, warm weather and sun! We hope everyone is having a nice Easter! Grandpa Nick and Grandma Mary are here for Lauren’s first Easter and Josh made us all a wonderful ham dinner today. Lauren is the best entertainment- she’s such a happy, smiley girl!

Lauren is getting bigger and smarter every day! She is now tired of baby food and only wants to feed herself… which makes eating times a lot longer and much more messy. Lauren- We just can’t get enough of that cute little face with those big beautiful eyes. You are getting sooo big. It is really fun to watch and talk with you and Mom and Dad on Skype. It helps us not being able to see you in person for these months that we’re in Arizona. We can’t wait until you all are here next week. Auntie Erin and Uncle Joe are here now and we are having a good time with them doing hikes on Silly Mountain and going to Spring Training games. Nana Jo and Auntie Erin have also been busy shopping for your soon to come new cousin and finding special things for you for when you are here. Lauren and Koda are getting to be good buddies… she breaks into a smile every time he walks up to her and she doesn’t mind a few licks here and there. She also likes to pull his hair, grab his paws and gives him a hard pat when she can, but he takes it all (Read the Rest…)

Lauren is going to have a cousin this summer! Joe and Erin shared the news over Christmas that they are expecting a baby in July and we are so excited for them… and Nana Jo is already planning “cousin camp” at the lake :) If you look closely, you can see Lauren’s two bottom teeth- (Read the Rest…)

Hello from Fargo! Lauren is getting so big and is still so very pretty! It would be fun to get all of the kids together sometime, they would have a blast. That is funny, since Gracie was about 1, her favorite thing at the zoo is the prairie dogs as well! Happy 6 year wedding anniversary to you and Josh! Take care you guys and keep in touch.
