If you haven’t heard by now, we’re expecting again! Baby #2 is due March 28th and so far it has been an uneventful pregnancy. I’ve been feeling good, just tired, and this past week I’ve been feeling definite kicks and movement of the baby. The ultrasound is Friday so we are looking forward to seeing (Read the Rest…)

We spent the 4th of July in Park River, ND, and had a great day with the Halls. My cousin Bjorn, his wife Sveta and their daughter, Bianca, made the trip from the east coast and we got to celebrate Bianca’s 2nd birthday with her! Lauren loved being one of the gang- my cousins’ kids (Read the Rest…)

Lauren says “I do it!” only about a hundred times a day. And when she wants to do it, whatever it is, she does not want our help! This usually means whatever we are doing will take 10 times as long, which can be a problem as we try to rush out of the house (Read the Rest…)

Wow, I just realized we haven’t posted in a month! The last few weeks have been busy, starting with Josh and I traveling to Boulder, CO, for a family friend’s wedding. We had such a great weekend with you guys! I can’t wait until next year when it will probably be the other way around: Annie needing to follow Lauren where ever she goes!
It’s been a while since our last post because there hasn’t been too much to report! We’ve had a lot of down time in the past month which has been really nice. We took advantage of the beautiful day today and went to the MN Zoo! Lauren had a great time looking at all the animals- she especially liked the fish and the prairie dogs. Lauren is so close to walking- maybe she’ll wait and take those first steps on her birthday! Her new favorite thing to do is pull all of the clothes and towels out of her dresser drawers. It’s great to finally be able to get out and enjoy some warm spring weather! Josh repaired our swing set in the backyard and hung a baby swing for Lauren- she loves it! She’s also has fun playing in the grass and getting dirty… I think baths will have to become more frequent now! We (Read the Rest…)

Oh Lauren, That looks like one of your favorite things to do!
Lauren is getting bigger and smarter every day! She is now tired of baby food and only wants to feed herself… which makes eating times a lot longer and much more messy. She’s also got a couple more teeth on top although I’m not sure how much she actually chews her food. Her new thing (Read the Rest…)
