I can’t believe Lauren is over 2 months old and I go back to work next week- where did the summer go?!? She is getting to be so much more fun; she is giving us many more smiles and has even started “talking” to us… we love all of her little sounds and facial expressions. (Read the Rest…)

It’s hard to believe Lauren will be a month old this week… it seems the days go by pretty quickly lately and she’s definitely more alert now which is fun. Josh, Steph And Lauren-
Just got back from our couples trip to Canada. Had to go to the blog site to look for any new postings and photos. Wow!! you are growing right before our eyes Lauren. We really enjoyed having you at the cabin for the first time and going on your first pontoon ride. You were sooooo good the whole weekend. It won’t be long and Mom or Dad will have you out on the jet ski. I agree with Erin that I’m also starting to see a little of Josh in her face. Still cute like her mommy though. We made it through another week! This week has been much better in terms of adjusting and getting used to each other… that first week was pretty tough (especially on mom). Feeding is going much better, although the frequency is still a little overwhelming, and there are still some scheduling kinks to work on. I’ve (Read the Rest…)

We’ve survived the first week! It’s definitely been a week of ups and downs (and a few breakdowns), but we’re all adjusting and hope that each day gets a little easier. We’re proud to introduce our new baby girl, Lauren Mary Keck. She was born at 12:40pm on Thursday June 14th. She’s a little peanut weighing 6lbs. 13ozs. and 20 inches long. She started the day with some drama. We weren’t sure if she’d be delivered naturally or by c-section due to a fluctuating heart rate. (Read the Rest…)

All I can tell you today is that we’ll definitely have baby news by the weekend! I went in this morning and there is still no progress… this baby is being very stubborn. We went ahead and scheduled an induction this week; Wednesday night they will give me something to start the progression and hopefully (Read the Rest…)

So the due date came and went… and no baby! I was hoping for something to happen last night but I’m back at work today. Obviously most babies don’t come on their due dates, but I’ve had June 7th as “the day” for 9 long months so it was a little disappointing to find it was (Read the Rest…)

I am thinking that today will be your last day of work! Even if the baby isn’t here by Monday, I think that you should take Monday off to relax and eat ice cream :)
Still waiting! I made an appt. for next Monday and at that time we’ll decide on a plan if nothing has happened yet. They will induce me next week but I’m hoping to avoid that… hopefully the baby is ready to come by then! I’m not really that nervous for it to happen, but the (Read the Rest…)

I keep looking up at my calendar at work and thinking, “Wow, the due date is so close.” And then, five minutes later, I do the same thing. And then I do it again. Hang in there Moma – we are all excitedly waiting with you!

I cannot believe I missed a week!!!!
 Waiting patiently is really hard to do! I feel like we are ready for this baby now and the belly is getting quite cumbersome- and all we can do is wait for the baby to be ready. I keep thinking “this could be my last day of work” and the hospital bag is packed… (Read the Rest…)
