Brayden had such a fun birthday party! We had the living room filled with balloons and although he didn’t fully understand the party was for him, he sure enjoyed himself. He let Lauren and Annie help open his gifts- he got a lot of cute summer outfits and sports-themed gifts. And he LOVED his cake- (Read the Rest…)

Josh and Lauren made me the most colorful cake for my birthday- the inside was like a rainbow! I had fun celebrating with my family and even my brother Jeff was in town for the weekend. Birthdays don’t get too crazy when your 3-4, but I did get out a few nights so that was (Read the Rest…)

Lauren turned 3 last Monday and she had a Jungle Book themed party. You would think that she’d want a princess or Ariel theme, but she has her ways of surprising us. Thankfully Nana Jo came through with a cake with Mowgli and Baloo on it or else it would have just been a jungle (Read the Rest…)

Lauren, we had so much fun at your party! You looked so cute all dressed up like a princess . . . it reminded me of how much your mom loved to dress up in her Auntie Laurie's prom dresses and her Grandma Wanda's high heels! Love to all of you . . . please give your brother a BIG kiss from Grandma Mary

We spent the 4th of July in Park River, ND, and had a great day with the Halls. My cousin Bjorn, his wife Sveta and their daughter, Bianca, made the trip from the east coast and we got to celebrate Bianca’s 2nd birthday with her! Lauren loved being one of the gang- my cousins’ kids (Read the Rest…)

We celebrated Annie’s first birthday a couple weeks ago and had a great time in Fargo with family. It is so fun to watch Lauren and Anne together- they entertained us all with the Busy Ball Popper (which I would highly recommend for a child’s birthday present) and enjoyed playing with Anne’s new Dora kitchen. 1st Birthday

Lauren had such a fun 1st birthday!  We had lots of family and friends over to help her celebrate- it was a great afternoon to relax in the backyard and the kids kept busy with bubbles.  Lauren didn’t quite know what to do with her cake, but it didn’t take long for her to make (Read the Rest…)

Lauren, What a great celebration your 1st birthday was! You had a wonderful time “catching” bubbles and interacting with everyone. That little sparkle in your eyes just melts my heart. You bring so much joy to so many lives…..we love you very much!

Lauren is so close to walking- maybe she’ll wait and take those first steps on her birthday! Her new favorite thing to do is pull all of the clothes and towels out of her dresser drawers. She’s also getting a little attitude, which the girls at daycare claim is her way of expressing independence. Lauren (Read the Rest…)

Swimming

By: Steph | Tags: ,

We took Lauren swimming for a birthday party last weekend – she liked the water but didn’t splash as much as she does in the bath. She was more interested in watching the older kids jump in off the sides of the pool. And she didn’t even mind too much when I dunked her underwater!

Another great first!! Did you do the one, two, three blow in her face that your mom taught me to do with babies?? It’s those eyes
that I just can’t stay away from – what a beauty!!! Momma as well!!
