If you haven’t heard by now, we’re expecting again! Baby #2 is due March 28th and so far it has been an uneventful pregnancy. I’ve been feeling good, just tired, and this past week I’ve been feeling definite kicks and movement of the baby. The ultrasound is Friday so we are looking forward to seeing (Read the Rest…)

May has been a kind of a slow month for us- we’re just enjoying the nice weather, going out on our rollerblades, getting the yard cleaned up… basically just relaxing before the craziness of summer begins! We’ve also spent an afternoon at Canterbury, visited the zoo, and spent a weekend in St. Cloud where Lauren (Read the Rest…)

Ha! Looks like Lauren knows the best part of the cookie :) We’re excited to see you all this weekend!
This past month has been pretty quiet and uneventful so we’ve been tucked in at home staying warm! The weather was really nice over the weekend, but Lauren has a terrible cold/cough so unfortunately we weren’t outside enjoying it. Grandma Mary has been down a couple times and Lauren always loves her visits- and hates (Read the Rest…)

Adorable. Love the video…I giggled the whole time…and Logan was asking for a pizza party by the end. Just please know that you are wonderful parents and Lala trying to test you is normal. It’s still happening at my house on a regular basis. It would be a tough world if you were too short, too small and could understand what everyone was saying but couldnt’ get your mouth around the necessary words to respond. She’s a wonderfully beautiful little girl…and you gotta love that she knows what she wants…even if the reaction you are dealing with is less than desireable. I love you guys…Happy Valentine’s Day!!! -Amy
What a wonderful holiday season we had with our families! We spent Christmas in Grafton and it was great to see my brothers, mom and dad, and lots of extended family. Lauren especially had fun with my cousins’ kids and loved being part of the gang. She received a harmonica from her uncles that she (Read the Rest…)

“Christmas, merry Christmas, has it really come and gone . . . with its joyous celebration, with its carols and its song?” What a wonderful time it was for Grandpa and me with all the family together again! Thank you, Josh, for capturing so many of those special moments! Lauren, the pictures of you and your cousins and Great-grandma Merle . . . precious! Christmas Eve and you in your little red dress . . . wonderful memories! We are so lucky! Love you guys, Grandma Mary
We had a fun Halloween and although Lauren didn’t really understand trick-or-treating, she sure liked her kitty costume after several dress rehearsals! She didn’t want to wear her costume at daycare, but seeing all of her friends in their costumes must have gotten her excited to wear it for the night. We had our friends, (Read the Rest…)

We enjoyed a day at the MN State Fair over the weekend- it was a beautiful day to be out and enjoying fair food! We had the usual (corn, cheese curds, cookies, malt, bull bites) and tried a few new ones, too- pronto pup, tater tots on a stick, and a pickle dog (pickle wrapped (Read the Rest…)

My mom and dad came down last weekend to celebrate Dad’s birthday with us. The weekend went too fast as always… Saturday we headed over to the Mill City Farmers Market and Como Zoo. It was a gorgeous day to be out and we had fun watching Lauren react to the zoo animals. We were (Read the Rest…)

Nothing like a weekend with Lauren to erase a few wrinkles and ease a few aches! Can’t help but smile all the time when we’re with you, Lauren . . . you are “far above the norm”! Thanks for the great pictures, Josh, and to the three of you thanks for a wonderful BD weekend! Love, Grandpa Nick and Grandma Mary
Lauren is so close to walking- maybe she’ll wait and take those first steps on her birthday! Her new favorite thing to do is pull all of the clothes and towels out of her dresser drawers. She’s also getting a little attitude, which the girls at daycare claim is her way of expressing independence. Lauren (Read the Rest…)

Lauren wishes everyone a happy Valentine’s day! She had a party at daycare today and her room was completely decked out in streamers, balloons and goodies (although Josh and I got to claim the treats). And Josh made a feast for us at home tonight- crab legs and steak, yum! Sending lots of love to (Read the Rest…)

Lauren is now 4 months old and Josh and I are having so much fun watching her little personality develop- I can’t believe the changes in her during the past month. She is grabbing onto everything and has all of the exersaucer toys figured out… she loves to “sing” to us and looking at herself (Read the Rest…)

What beautiful pictures of such a happy little girl! You are changing so quickly and I can’t wait to see you soon. You already love being creative just like your Mom and Dad! Love you lots, Nana Jo
Lauren slept through the night twice this week! I panicked for a minute the first morning when I realized that my alarm woke me up instead of Lauren’s cries… and when she did wake at 6:30, we were all smiles- what a great way to start the day :) All the activity at daycare must (Read the Rest…)

Looks like a fun day!!! It sure was prefect for you guys outside…thought of you on my way home wishing I had been at the Fair all day too!!!! Enjoy your time as a family this weekend. I will say, leaving your baby at daycare never is easy (even when they don’t even kiss you goodbye anymore…) BUT you sure look forward to the weekends that much more when you don’t see them all day every day!!! Come on over on Monday afternoon if you want…I’d love to see you!!!! Hugs all ’round… – Amy

Thanks for posting the pics! She was a darling snow white. Steph you look great — and I think I have to agree with Erin I'd love to know the gender this time. But I can wait if you do too! We loved having her visit this weekend — she is so entertaining!
