It was so nice to see the sun today- we’ve been waiting for some warm spring weather! We’re ready to start working in the yard and being outside with the kids. Brayden is now two weeks old and we’re all doing okay! Josh and I are both a little sleep deprived and the postpartum hormones cause an occasional tear here and there, but for the most part, I’m feeling a lot better this time around; knowing what to expect with a newborn sure has made a (Read the Rest…)

We had a fun Easter weekend at home. It started with a family festival at church on Saturday morning where we made a flower pot, sang songs and Lauren got to hunt for Easter eggs. We hope everyone is having a nice Easter! Grandpa Nick and Grandma Mary are here for Lauren’s first Easter and Josh made us all a wonderful ham dinner today. Lauren is the best entertainment- she’s such a happy, smiley girl!

So I think the belly has grown since the last time I wore this shirt! It seems like I’ve gotten much bigger just in the last couple of weeks. Oh Steph…that belly is so beautiful!! You guys are in the final countdown…enjoy the quiet house…the empty laundry baskets…and your SLEEP!!!! That little miracle is about to turn your world upside down in ways you can’t even begin to imagine…and it’s all awesome!!!! I had a little dream the other morning inbetween alarms that you and I were having a glass of wine and watching Logan play with about a 9 month old little GIRL on the floor…Hmmmmm…we’ll have to see in about 9 months, huh?? The other parts I all believe to be true…the wine and Logan playing with the baby…hahah!!! We love you and cannot wait to meet the little one…and you have never looked more beautiful in the 12 years I’ve known you!!!
