Lauren says “I do it!” only about a hundred times a day. And when she wants to do it, whatever it is, she does not want our help! This usually means whatever we are doing will take 10 times as long, which can be a problem as we try to rush out of the house (Read the Rest…)

Busy is the word around our house lately! Lauren is moving a lot faster now and is getting into everything… she climbs and crawls over anything in her way and tries to pull herself up on whatever is near. Lauren slept through the night twice this week! I panicked for a minute the first morning when I realized that my alarm woke me up instead of Lauren’s cries… and when she did wake at 6:30, we were all smiles- what a great way to start the day :) All the activity at daycare must (Read the Rest…)

I know it’s been too long since the last post, but we’ve been busy! This past weekend was especially interesting- storms came through around 3 am on Saturday morning and we lost power at the house until Sunday afternoon! Lauren’s baptism was Saturday evening so we had to cook the whole meal on the grill (Read the Rest…)

We made it through another week! This week has been much better in terms of adjusting and getting used to each other… that first week was pretty tough (especially on mom). Feeding is going much better, although the frequency is still a little overwhelming, and there are still some scheduling kinks to work on. I’ve (Read the Rest…)

 Waiting patiently is really hard to do! I feel like we are ready for this baby now and the belly is getting quite cumbersome- and all we can do is wait for the baby to be ready. I keep thinking “this could be my last day of work” and the hospital bag is packed… (Read the Rest…)

Waiting for baby . . . I remember sitting in the rocker that Grandma Wanda had painted . . . looking at the “circus” wallpaper Grandma Merle had hung . . . and thinking you were NEVER going to be born, Steph! (You DON’T want to know how many days “over” you were!)
Baby Keck’s nursery looks so darling and everything’s ready to go. Can’t wait to see him/her lying on that changing table! The entire northeastern corner of North Dakota is waiting to hear the BIG news!! Love you guys . . . Mom
Sorry to disappoint, but I don’t have anything exciting to report this week! The dr. appointment and ultrasound I had scheduled for today was rescheduled for next Tuesday, so check back next week and we should have some new ultrasound pictures to share. It’s been a busy week and UPS has been making a few (Read the Rest…)

this is not going to cut it. As one of your most die hard blog fans I need more information. I am going to start making some up if I don’t get more details next week. I mean seriously, I now have to go through an entire week with only crib and office information? In my egocentric world that just won’t cut it. :-)
