We spent the 4th of July in Park River, ND, and had a great day with the Halls. My cousin Bjorn, his wife Sveta and their daughter, Bianca, made the trip from the east coast and we got to celebrate Bianca’s 2nd birthday with her! Lauren loved being one of the gang- my cousins’ kids (Read the Rest…)

I had a surprise visit from my family a couple of weeks ago- it was a total shock to come home from work and find them all there waiting! I was pretty emotional at first, but after they assured me that it was just a fun surprise, I was able to relax and calm down (Read the Rest…)

We recently spent a week visiting my brothers in Oregon. My parents went, too, and we all had a great time together! We stayed busy in Portland, taking in some of the area sights and spending time with Jeff and Jon’s friends. Well Lauren had quite the first Halloween complete with 2 different outfits. We thought her Butterfly costume might be a little much for a day at school so she went as a cowgirl wearing her cowboy hat from Uncle Jeff and her Boots from Manda. Yee Haw!

I know it’s been too long since the last post, but we’ve been busy! This past weekend was especially interesting- storms came through around 3 am on Saturday morning and we lost power at the house until Sunday afternoon! I can’t believe how fast a month has gone by! All of our travels these past few weeks have kept us busy and we’ve had lots of visitors at home, too. Lauren got to meet her uncles this past week and it was fun to see them with her… Uncle Jeff and Uncle Jonny sure (Read the Rest…)

Love the pictures! Lauren is definitely the “Main Attraction” these days! Uncle Jif and Uncle Jonny look like they’re “old pros” with her! We’re so lonesome for her already . . . and it’s only been three days!!! Please capture her “first smile” on camera for all of us . . . she’s so close to that BIG moment . . . Waiting for baby . . . I remember sitting in the rocker that Grandma Wanda had painted . . . looking at the “circus” wallpaper Grandma Merle had hung . . . and thinking you were NEVER going to be born, Steph! (You DON’T want to know how many days “over” you were!)
