It’s been a little slow around here while we get ready for Baby #2 to arrive. We’re busy trying to get the guest bedroom converted into Lauren’s new “Big Girl” bedroom. How many princesses can you put in one room? I think we’re on our way to finding out, although we’re trying to do our (Read the Rest…)

It’s been a while since our last post because there hasn’t been too much to report! We’ve had a lot of down time in the past month which has been really nice. November and December are looking quite busy already so we’ll enjoy these weekends of rest and relaxation! Josh did get out hunting last (Read the Rest…)

She’s so cute!!!!!! ALWAYS!!!
Lauren and Koda are getting to be good buddies… she breaks into a smile every time he walks up to her and she doesn’t mind a few licks here and there. She also likes to pull his hair, grab his paws and gives him a hard pat when she can, but he takes it all (Read the Rest…)

Oh, those videos are the best! Koda almost looks like he’s smiling….I think he’s beginning to understand where the action is taking place and is happy to be a part of it. Lauren is going to love that lab just like the two of you do.
And already that little Lauren is learning to appreciate music! The best part of the videos is your loving voices and presence next to your beautiful daughter:)
Lauren is 3 months old today and we can’t believe how much she changes in just one week… she’s growing so fast and I had a hard time putting away her newborn outfits. She’s “talking” more and loves being in her exersaucer. She has also started paying more attention to Koda and is not quite (Read the Rest…)

We made it through another week! This week has been much better in terms of adjusting and getting used to each other… that first week was pretty tough (especially on mom). Feeding is going much better, although the frequency is still a little overwhelming, and there are still some scheduling kinks to work on. I’ve (Read the Rest…)

She’s gorgeous. Great job on the picture, Josh and Steph! She’s simply gorgeous. I hope you have some nice relaxing time at the cabin and in Grafton…can’t wait to hear all about it and get my hands on that beautiful girl…I have treats for her!
We’ve survived the first week! It’s definitely been a week of ups and downs (and a few breakdowns), but we’re all adjusting and hope that each day gets a little easier. The Grandmas have been such a tremendous help this past week, I’m not sure where we’d be without them. Between feeding every few hours (Read the Rest…)

What an adorable family photo! Lauren is incredibly beautiful…I’m impressed that her parents look at least somewhat alert in the first weeks (can’t say the same for Koda!).
I hope all continues to go well. Parenting is the best adventure ever.
All my very best to your perfect little family…
Meagan (Matt & Jack)
Not much to report this week so I just wanted to share some old baby photos! As I wrote in the previous entry, I’m getting anxious to meet the baby and see what he/she looks like… will he have Josh’s eyes or will she have my nose? We had a nice trip up to Grafton (Read the Rest…)

The snow has been relentless over the past week! Last weekend we got about a foot and the past 2 days we’ve gotten another foot. Here’s a picture after Koda and I dug out the driveway for the 3rd time in 24hours. I’m sure those of you enjoying the weather (and golf) in warmer climates (Read the Rest…)

Josh and Steph,
The snow looks beautiful — from afar that is:) We were at Chris and Jayne’s last night and showed the kids the website. They were so excited to see the pictures — and of course all the snow and Koda, their favorite “trick dog.” Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday and getting a peek at Baby Keck’s room. What a busy weekend — paint, shovel, paint, shovel……. Love to you all, Mom
First, I’d just like to thank everyone who has checked out our site! It’s fun to read your comments and we’re happy to share this experience with you. I had a doctor appointment this morning and after having an ultrasound, these routine appts. are pretty uneventful! Too bad we can’t see the baby every time! (Read the Rest…)

Steph, you are so beautiful!! I watched the Audrey Hephren story last night and thought of you because you are just as lovely if not more so than she was.
Thanks for having this Blog. It will be so fun to see your progress.
I read Ps. 139 to Cortney Ellen every day for the last five months she was in my womb. To this day, she loves reading her Bible.
I am so happy for you and Josh. You will be such great parents and your child will be soooo spoiled by their grandma in Grafton, this we know!
Take care you two and 1/2 and keep those pictures coming!Love you!

Way too precious for words! Bob says "why can't we have a dog like that?"! Miss all of you of soooo much! Love Laurie
