It has been too long since the last post. We’re busy and the kids haven’t been very photogenic recently, but I wanted to write a little something for those of you who still check in on us… Brayden is 18 months and so entertaining at this age. He’s starting to say a few words and (Read the Rest…)

Going to the Minnesota Zoo is one of my favorite activities with the kids. This visit we spent most of the time at the Farm and at the water fountains. The goats are always fun – Lauren was a little scared to feed them, although she loved brushing them. And I tried to let Brayden (Read the Rest…)

What a fun summer you guys are having! Brayden, you are fearless when it comes to anything that splashes or gets you wet! And Lauren, you could be a model! So much fun with all of you last weekend . . . hugs and kisses to my Company Girl and Little Buddy! Love, Grandma Mary
Brayden has had a tough few days- just cranky and hard to please. His top two teeth started coming in last weekend and so we thought that was part of the problem; he’s been drooling like crazy, giving him a rash on his chin, neck, and chest and he chews hard on anything he can (Read the Rest…)

Brayden, hope you're feeling a little better now. Bet your mom and dad miss those BIG smiles of yours! Lauren, your babies are going to be SO smart with you teaching them everything you know! Were those your music books you were teaching from?? Grandma and Bumpa can't wait to hear you sing some of your "Bible" songs!
Be sure to have your mom and dad take some pictures of you and Brayden in your Halloween costumes. Someone asked me today what you were dressing up as , , , and Grandma didn't know!! Have fun "trick or treating"! Love and kisses from Grandma Mary
Lauren started Sunday School this fall and our church had a Bible dedication service where all the three year olds were given their own Bible. She is also singing in the Starlite Singers group at church. It took Lauren a couple of rehearsals to get comfortable and participate, but she seems to really enjoy singing (Read the Rest…)

What a great family picture! Love to see Mom and Dad in the picture, too! Lauren, your mom would sing and sing when she was little, too . . . glad you didn't get Grandma Mary's vocal (none) talents. Now it's you and Bumpa singin' in the choir . . . "he sings low and you sing higher"! Can't wait to give you and Brayden hugs and kisses! Love from Grandma Mary
The past two weekends Lauren and I spent some time making some of my favorite cookies. Lauren is very into tasting each ingredient so it was interesting to watch her reaction as she tasted sugar, molasses, flour, etc. Who knew a kid would like to eat plain old flour? We made my Grandma’s Ginger Snap (Read the Rest…)

Look delicious! Chocolate Marshmallow Cookies are one of my favorites. Josh, do you remember when you and Erin would put different spices, etc. in a pan and "cook" it? It is always fun to make memories in the kitchen:) See you soon!
We celebrated the 4th of July at the lake and also got to celebrate our niece Annie’s birthday; she turned 2 on the 3rd. The girls have so much fun together (as long as Lauren gets to be the leader) and they love the lake. Fishing, getting pulled in the tube (by Josh, not a (Read the Rest…)

Our sweet boy is now 3 months and is such a smiley, happy baby. Brayden really only fusses when he’s hungry or tired- he hasn’t been sleeping that well at daycare so he gets a little cranky when I keep him up too late to play with him! He’s sleeping pretty well at night now, (Read the Rest…)

Brayden, you're so cute I can hardly stand it. So excited to see you this weekend!
Lauren turned 3 last Monday and she had a Jungle Book themed party. You would think that she’d want a princess or Ariel theme, but she has her ways of surprising us. Thankfully Nana Jo came through with a cake with Mowgli and Baloo on it or else it would have just been a jungle (Read the Rest…)

Lauren, we had so much fun at your party! You looked so cute all dressed up like a princess . . . it reminded me of how much your mom loved to dress up in her Auntie Laurie's prom dresses and her Grandma Wanda's high heels! Love to all of you . . . please give your brother a BIG kiss from Grandma Mary
We’ve been busy traveling over the past couple of weekends and have had fun spending time with our families. It started with a trip up to Grafton that included some time with my extended family- Lauren had a blast with my cousins’ kids and had her first DQ chocolate malt and dilly bar… in the (Read the Rest…)

Thanks for the great pictures and video! The video perfectly reflects the squeals and laughter as they reeled in their fish and "enjoyed" the worms. It's always such a treat to see something new on your website. Love to all, Nana Jo
We had a great time with my family last week and Lauren loved seeing her uncles Jeff and Jonny again. They each got some cuddle time with their new nephew but were most entertained by their imaginative, talkative, and spunky niece :) We kept them busy with trips to the zoo, the MOA and the (Read the Rest…)

Hard to believe that Brayden is one month old already! Between sleeping, feeding, napping, and playing with a very imaginative 2 year old, the days have all kind of run together and a month has gone by quickly (except in the wee hours of the morning- then time goes a little too slowly). We’re still (Read the Rest…)

I’m into the final week of this pregnancy and am definitely ready to meet this baby! I’ve been quite uncomfortable over the last few weeks with swollen legs/feet and sore joints; the belly is bigger this time around which doesn’t help my comfort level! This pregnancy has also been different in the fact that I (Read the Rest…)

We're patiently waiting for Friday and meeting this new little granddaughter or grandson. Lauren is going to be over the top happy with her own live bitty baby to nurture and diaper! Lots of thoughts and prayers are with you all this week as we look forward to welcoming this little blessing. Love, Nana Jo

Fun to find a post — can't believe how they are growing and developing their little personalities! I want to see a picture of the paper shirt, shorts and mask:) Love you all, Nana Jo
