It’s been a little slow around here while we get ready for Baby #2 to arrive. We’re busy trying to get the guest bedroom converted into Lauren’s new “Big Girl” bedroom. How many princesses can you put in one room? I think we’re on our way to finding out, although we’re trying to do our (Read the Rest…)

Thanks for the "Lauren fix"! Can't believe how she improved in her skating in just two weeks! Opa Rob may have a future Husky in the making! Koda looks like he's loving his playmate! We miss you all so much! Love from Grandma Mary

Week 29

By: Josh | Tags: , , ,

Less than 12 weeks to go until we meet baby #2! My check-up on Friday went well and aside from a nagging cough and sleep interruptions, I’m feeling good and happy to be in the third trimester now. I don’t have any inclination regarding the gender of the baby; since I was positive Lauren was (Read the Rest…)

First Haircut

By: Steph | Tags: ,

At 2 1/2 years old, we figured Lauren was ready for her first haircut (and the fact that her hair was looking pretty scraggly). It was more of a trim since I didn’t want to cut off the natural curl and, thankfully, the curls remain. We were a little nervous about how she would behave (Read the Rest…)

Lauren, you did much better than your Uncle Jonny did at "first haircut" time! Such pretty hair and such a big girl! Can't wait to see you! Love, Grandma Mary

If you haven’t heard by now, we’re expecting again! Baby #2 is due March 28th and so far it has been an uneventful pregnancy. I’ve been feeling good, just tired, and this past week I’ve been feeling definite kicks and movement of the baby. The ultrasound is Friday so we are looking forward to seeing (Read the Rest…)

So excited to see a video of Lauren! Were those awesome cupcakes for a Halloween party or just for fun? Can't wait to see photos of Lauren in costume!

Lauren made it to the MN State Fair for her third year and it wouldn’t have been complete without a picture of her in cheese on a stick cut-out! We spent almost a whole day there, longer than we anticipated, because the day was so nice and Lauren was having such a good time. Besides (Read the Rest…)

Lauren, love the pictures of you at your third State Fair . . . how those years have flown by! You're going to love those scary rides like your mom does, aren't you! You and Grandpa Nick will have to eat some corn-on-the-cob together . . . he can show you how to really make those kernels fly! Can't wait to see you soon! Love and kisses from Grandma Mary

I don’t think we know exactly why, but last week we decided to transition Lauren to what we tell her is a “Big Girl Bed”. Maybe it was the traveling we’ve done this summer and the realization that Lauren is quickly out growing the pack-n-play crib. More likely though it was that strange desire to (Read the Rest…)

Lauren — You look so proud of your big bed! And such a big girl to STAY in the big bed. It was great to see you last weekend at the lake. Hopefully Lauren's bug bites didn't swell up after you all left! Her little body definitely doesn't like our Minnesota bugs. Love you all, Nana

This is what happens when you take a leisurely walk around the block and fail to realize that your daughter is keeping up remarkably well because she’s being carried by a mosquito attached to the side of her head. The photos are from the following day when Lauren got the brunt of the swelling. Daycare (Read the Rest…)

Lauren, what a bad bite! Glad you don’t have any of those West Nile skeeters in MN! Your new bed looks fun . . . now Grandma won’t have to lift you over that big rail when she tucks you in. Can’t wait to see your sweet face! (and your mommy and daddy, too!) Love you, Grandma Mary

Thanks to Bumpa Hall, I had the chance to sneak out to Hazeltine on Monday morning and watch the first practice round of the PGA Championship. After spending an extra 15 minutes on the shuttle to the course thanks to a driver that didn’t know how to get there, I was immediately surprised to see (Read the Rest…)

Our summer travels continue and the last few weekends have included one trip back up to Grafton and two trips to the lake. The trip home again was for my cousin Mark’s wedding- he and Andrea had a beautiful outdoor reception at the Park River Bible Camp. Lauren’s favorite part of the reception was the (Read the Rest…)

You have had a busy, fun summer! Love all the pictures from the family gatherings.

It was great to see the pictures from your weekend at the lake! The kids have all grown up so since I saw them last at Lauren’s 1st birthday. Looks like you had a wonderful time even without the nice warm temperatures. Glad the fish were accommodating allowing for some great pics and fish stories. Lauren, you must have lured those fish in with your Dora fish bait:) Love, Nana Jo

Lauren — Your video definitely brightened Auntie EJ’s day — Joe, Annie and mine too. Your sweet little voice and “I’m a Little Tea Pot” song plus actions, were the best. Love you, Nana Jo
