We had a fun Halloween and although Lauren didn’t really understand trick-or-treating, she sure liked her kitty costume after several dress rehearsals! Every once and awhile Lauren will get in a mood that causes Steph and I to stop everything we’re doing and just sit and watch. Tonight was one of those nights and luckily the video camera was handy. It’s been a while since our last post because there hasn’t been too much to report! We’ve had a lot of down time in the past month which has been really nice. November and December are looking quite busy already so we’ll enjoy these weekends of rest and relaxation! Josh did get out hunting last (Read the Rest…)

Loved the videos! She is so cute reading to herself. I have to comment on the hair too…her hair is curlier at this age than Oliver’s was! Oliver’s was the exact same way — started in the back at @ 1 year old and slowly the curls worked their way to the front. I can’t wait for a full head of curls on her!! :) love & miss you*jessica
We recently spent a week visiting my brothers in Oregon. My parents went, too, and we all had a great time together! We stayed busy in Portland, taking in some of the area sights and spending time with Jeff and Jon’s friends. My mom and dad came down last weekend to celebrate Dad’s birthday with us. The weekend went too fast as always… Saturday we headed over to the Mill City Farmers Market and Como Zoo. It was a gorgeous day to be out and we had fun watching Lauren react to the zoo animals. We were (Read the Rest…)

We took advantage of the beautiful day today and went to the MN Zoo! Lauren had a great time looking at all the animals- she especially liked the fish and the prairie dogs. Lauren had such a fun 1st birthday! We had lots of family and friends over to help her celebrate- it was a great afternoon to relax in the backyard and the kids kept busy with bubbles. Lauren didn’t quite know what to do with her cake, but it didn’t take long for her to make (Read the Rest…)

Lauren, What a great celebration your 1st birthday was! You had a wonderful time “catching” bubbles and interacting with everyone. That little sparkle in your eyes just melts my heart. You bring so much joy to so many lives…..we love you very much!
Lauren is so close to walking- maybe she’ll wait and take those first steps on her birthday! Her new favorite thing to do is pull all of the clothes and towels out of her dresser drawers.
