Lauren made it to the MN State Fair for her third year and it wouldn’t have been complete without a picture of her in cheese on a stick cut-out! Thanks to Bumpa Hall, I had the chance to sneak out to Hazeltine on Monday morning and watch the first practice round of the PGA Championship. We spent the 4th of July in Park River, ND, and had a great day with the Halls. My cousin Bjorn, his wife Sveta and their daughter, Bianca, made the trip from the east coast and we got to celebrate Bianca’s 2nd birthday with her! Lauren loved being one of the gang- my cousins’ kids (Read the Rest…)

I had a surprise visit from my family a couple of weeks ago- it was a total shock to come home from work and find them all there waiting! I was pretty emotional at first, but after they assured me that it was just a fun surprise, I was able to relax and calm down (Read the Rest…)

We had a fun Easter weekend at home. It started with a family festival at church on Saturday morning where we made a flower pot, sang songs and Lauren got to hunt for Easter eggs. We spent a wonderful week in Arizona visiting Rob, Joanne and extended family! It was a treat to get away from the cold weather for a while and we had some fun outings while we were there. Looks like an amazing trip! What amazing photography…every photo looks like a postcard!! Lauren is growning into a KID, no more baby there!! She is more and more adorable all the time!!
Every once and awhile Lauren will get in a mood that causes Steph and I to stop everything we’re doing and just sit and watch. Tonight was one of those nights and luckily the video camera was handy. We recently spent a week visiting my brothers in Oregon. My parents went, too, and we all had a great time together! We stayed busy in Portland, taking in some of the area sights and spending time with Jeff and Jon’s friends. We did it! My couisn Jess and I ran the Fargo 1/2 Marathon this past weekend and it was a great experience. It really was a fun one to take part in … so many people came out to cheer on the runners and it was a such beautiful morning to be out running! We (Read the Rest…)
